Asirus-Covers-Bag-Lady-Erykah-Badu

Celebrating the 20th birthday of one of my favourite albums, Mama’s Gun, with an impromptu improv of one of my favourite songs, Bag Lady, by one of my favourite artists, Erykah Badu.

I was pleasantly surprised that this just fell out of me and am super grateful that the camera was recording cos I know it’s one of dem things that only happened because I wasn’t thinking about it, hahaha.

Happy Anniversary, my Queen! Much love to you.

PS. Check out my cover of Orange Moon, too.

With Love and Positivity,

x
